I'm sure the best way to start is to tell you why we started this blog. My Mom, just recently stumbling upon the wonderful blogosphere, seems to have a natural talent for discovering the informative and beautiful blogs out there. Once she sufficiently bookmarked nearly every blog out there, I started to weed through her bookmark list and discovered all the lovely things she had been reading (often way into the wee hours of night) and realized she was on to something.We thought our perspective as a mother-daughter duo had something novel to offer, and seized the opportunity to catalog the things we fancy.
Now About that title.
My Mom is from the south, a true sassy southern belle, transplanted into the concrete jungle of NY. I'm the concrete.

I too, know about those "sassy, southern bells". The original divas of the south, who made us the people we are today. I give thanks every day for the southern bells in my life who have made an impact in my life, both in the past and present.
